PROJECT SAMPLE: CROSS-BORDER HEALTH FOUNDATION
Healthier populations start with partnerships
Cross-Border Health brings together government and stakeholders from Canada and the United States to pursue common priorities in health.
We provide a forum for health leaders in both countries to exchange ideas and collaborate, while highlighting priority topics through reports, workshops, briefings/seminars, and educational tours.
Canada-U.S. Opioid Crisis Roundtable
Canada-U.S. Opioid Summit (dates 2018) assembled leaders in government, public health, people with lived experience and police services to share respective plans in addressing opioid use disorder in both countries, and discuss opportunities for future collaboration.
The Canada-US Connected Health Workshop, organized in conjunction with the Connected Health Conference in the Washington, DC metro area on December 14, 2016, assembled more than eighty participants from multiple disciplines and sectors in both countries to discuss regulatory and policy coordination in connected health.
Canada-U.S. Health Summit (Nov 2-3 2015) convened leaders in government, public health, health policy from Canada and the United States to discuss shared priorities in health, covering a wide range of topics.
